Notes that act.

A notes app on top. Claude in your real repo underneath. Write a thought; the note does the work and comes back done.

FROM THE MANIFESTO

Write the thought. The note does the rest.

HOW IT WORKS02

How it works.

Four beats. The phone is where the thought arrives; the Mac is where it becomes work. The note travels so you don’t.

  1. 01

    Write.

Open the app. The caret is already blinking. Write the thought before it leaves.

  2. 02

    Send.

Tap send. The note picks Mac or cloud and goes. No picker, no friction.

  3. 03

    Act.

The note wakes your Mac, opens your real repo, and runs Claude in your real env.

  4. 04

    Done.

The work streams back inside the same note as a foldable block. Where it started.

WHY WEND03

A note that finishes the job.

A letterpressed note leaning against a warmly glowing laptop on a wooden desk

Acts in your real repo.

ON YOUR MAC

A signed Swift daemon on your Mac. The note opens your actual repo, your env, your CLIs, your keys — already configured. Your code never leaves your hardware.

An antique brass key resting on a cream envelope sealed with burnt-sienna wax

Acts within the permissions you set.

YOUR RULES

Wend runs Claude under your own Claude Code config — your allowlist, your rules. It gets no powers you haven't already granted, and your code never leaves your Mac. Living, not loose.

An opened letterpressed note with its wax seal broken, lying in golden light

Comes back inside the note.

IN THE NOTE

The work returns to the document the thought started in — a foldable block, streamed at reading speed. Not a chat. Not a sandbox. One note, one timeline.

THE HONEST PART04

For whom.

WEND IS FOR

  • Solo founders shipping to a real repo
  • Indie hackers already paying for Cursor, Linear, Raycast
  • Devs whose best thoughts arrive on walks
  • Anyone who wants the idea acted on before they're back at the desk

NOT FOR

  • Teams looking for a shared workspace
  • Anyone who wants twelve model providers
  • People building apps inside the phone
  • Anyone who needs a chatbot
QUESTIONS05

Questions.

01When does it launch?

Private waves in late 2026. Public when the daemon is boring. We will not ship a date we cannot keep.

02How is this different from Claude Code on the web?

Claude Code on the web is a workspace you go to. A Wend note goes to the work for you — it acts in your real repo and brings the result back inside itself. The note is the document and the timeline. There is no chat surface to switch to.

03Do I need to install something on my Mac?

Yes. Wend for Mac — a signed .dmg, drag-drop, about thirty seconds. It's what lets a note act in your real environment. If you already run Claude Code, Wend inherits your integrations (GitHub, Linear, whatever you've wired up). No second auth, no second setup.

04If the note acts on its own, is my code safe?

Yes — autonomy with a leash you hold. The daemon runs locally and your code never leaves your Mac. Wend runs Claude under your own Claude Code config, so a note can only do what you've already allowed Claude to do — read-only by default, no new powers, no second auth. Want it to write? Allow it in your own setup, the same way you already do at the desk.

05What if my Mac is asleep?

The send queues and runs when your Mac wakes. You can flip a toggle in Settings to route to the cloud while it sleeps — same Claude, no real-env access. The Mac is where a note does its best work.

06Why mobile-only?

The phone is where the thought arrives. The note is what carries it to the laptop and back. Putting a web app in front of you at the desk would just be a worse Cursor — and we are not building a worse Cursor.

07Can I dictate instead of type?

System dictation works. A first-class voice button is reserved in the keyboard toolbar and ships after launch.

Stop losing the good thought.

One email when your wave opens. Nothing else from us until then.
